FRIENDS FUR LIFE - WELCOMING HOME A NEW PUPPY
We are a team of animal lovers who feel that Singapore deserves a better and more ethical furry landscape. Being in the pet industry and having pups that were bred locally have allowed us to see and experience; firsthand, way too many pups with health problems that could have been prevented if they were bred properly. Hence, we set up Friends Fur Life with the aim to help everyone find their friend for life.
Friends Fur Life is a furby boutique where we help potential pet owners find their perfect pups from overseas kennels. We are working with exceptionally reputable breeders from Australia, New Zealand, and the UK where all parents of the pups are DNA tested for potential hereditary disease. This ensures the quality of the furby that you will be bringing home.
Your pup will also come with a pedigree certificate (when applicable) and a puppy starter kit. All vet work, vaccinations, import and export procedures will be handled by us so it leaves you with only the best part - receiving your puppy and showering him/her with all the love and attention!
We can best match one of the puppies to your lifestyle, selecting a puppy from the litter that will most suit your requirements. We will also be providing you with weekly updates on your puppy and offer ongoing support and advice on how to provide the very best care for your new puppy.
We also run a pet hotel, daycare, and grooming centre and provide a one-stop service solution for all your pup's needs. We offer board and train packages, socialization packages, and grooming workshops to help you bond and raise your furbaby in the best possible way.
Overall, we aim to change the pet scene in Singapore by helping owners find their healthy pup from ethical breeders who care about the welfare of their dogs.

How are the puppies brought over?

How do I proceed if I am interested?
- Firstly, local pet store/pet farms do not guarantee you a healthy puppy. Many of them will not show you the parents of their pups as they may not be in tip-top condition. In that case, how do you ensure that the puppies that they produce are healthy and free of diseases? Majority of the pet stores and pet farms in Singapore do not DNA test their parents. Many sires and dams may have diseases that are hereditary in nature and this will be passed down to their offsprings, i.e: your puppy. Secondly, many pet farms in Singapore over-breed their dogs, resulting in weak dams and puppies. Many also have no qualms in in-breeding their dogs and this leads to major health issues in the puppies that they produce.
What types of breeds do you have?
- We usually have different breeds every month so watch our space for updates on the available pups! Don't see your desired breed? Fret not! We are also able to help you source for most breeds that you are attracted to, so long they are not under the banned breeds category under Singapore's law. Just contact one of our friendly pupperista for assistance!
Where do I view/choose the puppies?
- Viewing appointments are preferred so contact us to book a viewing slot! Our boutique is at 302 Lavender Street. Do take note that our boutique is not where our pet hotel is.
- For pups that we don't bring in, we can send you lots of photos of the puppies available and provide advice to help match suitable puppies to your lifestyle/requirements. We know pawrents would like to watch their kiddos grow up so after you choose your pup, we will send you weekly updates so you can see what your kiddo is up to while waiting for them!
How do I know if the parents are DNA tested?
- We will provide a copy of the parents’ DNA tests results. Puppies will also be vaccinated and checked by the vet to ensure that they are fit to fly!
How do you guys ensure that the kennels are reputable?
- Each and every kennel is carefully selected by our founders and we always, always, always ensure that they show us the proper documentations before we include them into the program. All of the kennels that we work with are registered breeders and we visited majority of them before we establish the connection!
How are the puppies brought over?
- The puppies will arrive by plane, breeders will also start crate-training them at a young age to ensure that the hours on flight will not be a problem for them.
Is there any quarantine period required for the puppy upon landing in Singapore?
- Singapore is a rabies-free country and thus, we have strict quarantine rules. For Category A countries like Australia, New Zealand, and United Kingdom, quarantine will not be required as long as the puppy meets import requirements.
Will I still need to bring the puppy to a local vet upon arrival?
- Puppies will be checked by a vet before they depart their source country. Hence, you do not have to bring the puppy to the vet after it arrives in Singapore but it is up to you, if you would like a peace of mind, you can bring your puppy to the vet upon arrival.
